Compatibility

Check that your Hot Spring or Caldera spa uses the replaceable-cartridge FreshWater Salt System. These cartridges do not replace the FreshWater IQ monitoring sensor.

Service life

Three cartridges can cover up to about one year of operation. Actual service life depends on factors including spa use and water chemistry.

Follow the control panel alerts and continue to test and balance the water. Chlorine production does not eliminate the need for regular maintenance.
