7. The most important question: will the furniture really fit?
The “12 × 14 ft” figure does not automatically represent the usable space under the roof. Posts, the structure, rails, door openings and overhangs can reduce the available space. Always compare the interior dimensions with the actual footprint of the furniture.
- Measure the interior of the pavilion, not just the advertised size.
- Place the table or sofa on a floor plan while adding the space taken up by the chairs, armchairs and cushions.
- Plan for traffic flow when the seats are occupied and the chairs are pushed back.
